LyteHosting reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any customer account at its sole discretion where it reasonably believes that such action is necessary to protect its services, infrastructure, customers, comply with legal obligations, or enforce these Terms of Service.
Where an account is terminated by LyteHosting for reasons unrelated to fraud, abuse, criminal activity, or any breach of these Terms, any remaining wallet balance that has not been utilized for active services shall be eligible for a full refund, subject to successful account verification and completion of any outstanding obligations.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible or by another approved method determined by LyteHosting.
Customers may request the permanent closure of their LyteHosting account at any time by submitting a formal account closure request through our support channels.
Where the account is in good standing and has not violated any provision of these Terms of Service, the customer shall be eligible to receive a refund of the remaining wallet balance after an administrative account closure fee equal to 30% of the available wallet balance has been deducted. The remaining 70% of the wallet balance shall be refunded following successful verification and completion of the account closure process.
The administrative fee covers payment processing costs, fraud prevention procedures, account review, compliance verification, and account decommissioning.
If, during or prior to an account closure request, LyteHosting determines through investigation that the account has been involved in or associated with any prohibited activity including but not limited to:
LyteHosting reserves the right to immediately terminate the account without prior notice. In such circumstances:
No refund shall be processed until all outstanding invoices, service fees, chargebacks, disputes or other financial obligations owed to LyteHosting have been settled. Where outstanding amounts exceed the customer's wallet balance, LyteHosting reserves the right to deduct such amounts before processing any eligible refund.
Approved refunds shall generally be processed within 7–14 business days, although processing times may vary depending on the customer's payment provider or financial institution. LyteHosting reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify account ownership before issuing any refund.
Customers are solely responsible for creating and maintaining backups of their websites, databases, emails and other hosted content. Upon account closure or termination, LyteHosting may permanently delete all customer data after the applicable retention period. Once deleted, such data may not be recoverable.
All investigations regarding account abuse, fraud, prohibited activities, refund eligibility and account closure shall be conducted solely by LyteHosting. LyteHosting's determination regarding violations of these Terms shall be final, subject only to any rights available under applicable law.
