You can add new hosting packages, such as Shared, VPS, Dedicated, or WordPress Hosting packages, to your current LyteHosting account through the Customer Portal. Your new hosting bundle will appear in your Customer Portal after the order is completed.
How a Hosting Package Is Added
To upgrade your LyteHosting account with a hosting package:
STEP 1: Log in to your Customer Portal.
STEP 2: Within the Customer Portal, there are two methods for adding a hosting package.
Method 1: Through the Service menu.
- Click Order New Service from the drop-down menu.
- Select the “Order now” option from the varieties of service cards displayed.
Method 2: Through the Shortcuts tab.
- Click Order New Service from the left-side menu.
- Select the “Order now” tab from the varieties of service cards displayed.
STEP 3: After being directed to LyteHosting’s main page, you may complete your purchase by filling out the order form.
STEP 4: Please complete the mandatory information on the order form. The domain you provide in the “Select a Domain” section will be the primary domain of your new hosting package.
- Register a New Domain tab - Simply enter the desired domain name in the “Enter Your Domain” section when registering a new domain. Make sure you spell your domain correctly because once it's registered, we can't change it.
- I Already Own This Domain tab - In the “Enter Your Domain” section, enter the domain name you would want to transfer to LyteHosting or if it already exists.
STEP 5: Choose the Package Type and Billing Cycle that you want under the Choose a Hosting Plan section. Please be aware that the hosting package you choose will determine the package type you see in the dropdown menu.
STEP 6: Choose your desired payment method under the Enter Your Billing Info box. The tabs allow you to quickly navigate between the different payment options.
STEP 7: Enter your coupon code (if available) under the Enter a Coupon Code area.
STEP 8: Under the Review Order Details section, review the details of your order and the total amount due. Additionally, you can review our terms of service.
STEP 9: To complete your order, click Checkout Now.
